Poor roads, traffic management are not suitable for cars

Though owning a car is considered to be a status symbol, in many parts of some countries like India, the roads are in a extremely poor condition and there is no major advantage in travelling by car. The traffic jam in some commercial areas of larger cities, will force the cars to drive so slowly, that a person who will walk, will cover the distance in a shorter span of time. Additionally parking space can be a major problem due to lack of regulation and proper systems, and vehicles which are not parked properly are towed away.
So before purchasing a car, it is advisable to consider all the disadvantages of owning a car, and then take a decision whether it is worthwhile to invest money in the car.
